How to Verify WhatsApp Without Using Your Personal SIM
Set up a WhatsApp account with a virtual number so your personal line stays private — a clear, step-by-step guide.
You may want a second WhatsApp account for a side business, a community group or simply to keep your main number private. A virtual number can receive the one-time code WhatsApp sends during registration.
Before you start
- A funded Sabiverify wallet.
- WhatsApp installed. If you already use it, use a second device or the dual-app feature your phone offers — a single WhatsApp installation holds one number.
- A stable internet connection.
Steps
- Open the Virtual Numbers page in your dashboard.
- Select a country, then search for WhatsApp.
- Buy the number and copy it with its country code.
- In WhatsApp, enter the number and tap Next, then confirm.
- Choose the SMS option when WhatsApp asks how to verify.
- Watch your dashboard — the 6-digit code appears there within a minute or two.
- Enter the code in WhatsApp and finish setting up your profile.
Common problems
- "Try again later": WhatsApp has throttled you. Wait before another attempt, and avoid repeated resends.
- No code: cancel the order and try a different number instead of waiting on a silent one.
- Number refused: some numbers are already registered or blocked. Switch to a fresh number.
Important to remember
If WhatsApp later needs to send another code to this number — for example when you move to a new phone — the one-time number will be gone. For an account you plan to keep, use a rental number, and turn on two-step verification inside WhatsApp so you can recover the account yourself.
